  At One of the Family, Benny is "one of the family". We have been part of this beautiful family since 2007 and they are the BEST!!! Benny gets superb care, special attention and bundles of love when he stays with his extended family, and there is no other "home" away from home that would compare.

  Benny always gets super excited when he knows that he is having a holiday with Gary, Sharon and Sophia and always returns a very happy and contented "puppy". Their love of animals is so beautiful and touching, a rare treasure. There is no other place in the world that provides such an amazing experience, and I always leave Benny with a peaceful heart, knowing that he will get the best care ever!!!

• Our two dogs, Bubba and Vinnie, have stayed at One of the Family Pet Care Centre since 2009. Bubba and Vinnie are like our children, and we always want to make sure they are well taken care of (since we hate having to leave them in the first place!). But when we do have to leave them, we feel 100% comfortable and happy to have them stay with Sharon, Gary, and Sophia at One of the Family.

  It's easy to book them in, they are always friendly and informative on the phone, and they have the drop off and pick ups down perfectly. They are always very well organized, and it's nice to see their friendly faces waiting for you when you get there. On top of having great service to us, you can tell they care for our dogs, and make sure they are loved and get exactly what they need while you are away. For example, Bubba has had back surgery and shouldn't do any stairs or excessive playing, and they always make sure his needs are met. They go above and beyond, and we couldn't be happier with their service. We feel so happy to have such wonderful caring people to take care of Bubba and Vinnie while we are away, and we will continue to utilize them again and again! Thank you Sharon, Gary, and Sophia!

• We have been boarding our two Labs with "One of the Family" since they were mere pups. The two have an obvious like for the "humans" that live at the centre as they never hesitate when being dropped off for a stay at the "resort"! In fact, their enthusiasm upon arriving has been a constant since their first stay. Watching these two being led away from us by Gary, is always tough. However, it is not seemingly tough at all for our two dogs, who are always happy to in turn lead Gary to the "residence" where new friends await.

  Picking the dogs up is equally as pleasant as they are returned with the same enthusiasm as when they were dropped off. They are obviously well cared for and we never have any qualms the quality of the care. Needless to say, we certainly feel comfortable in recommending the One of the Family Pet Care Centre for the care and boarding of your pet(s)!

• Our lovely Lab, Lulah, has just come back from another "holiday" at One of the Family. And it truly is a happy time for her there. Her tail begins to wag as soon as we pull through the gate and she doesn't even look back at us when Gary leads her away to her "room".   I have had the opportunity to board my dog(s) with "One of the Family" since they opened for business. Whether the stay was for a predetermined time period or for an emergency placement with short notice and an undetermined duration, my dogs have always been accommodated.

  There has never been any concern about the care received by the dogs. When picked up from their stay, if there had been any concerns, issues or changes, these were always brought forward and discussed.

  When your dog knows the turn off, eagerly bounds out of the vehicle and leads, usually Gary, to the kennel, you know that you have a prime facility for the care of your animal.

  I do not hesitate to recommend "One of the Family" to anyone asking about boarding a family pet.

• We have been using "One of the family Pet Centre" for close to 15 years - now on dog #2! I was hesitant to leave our puppy for the first time but after touring the facility any worries I had were quickly gone! They have always treated our pets "as family" and it is so great to have peace of mind when we leave them!

  We discovered "One of the Family Pet Care Centre" in 2006, when Elly was a mere puppy. Our Berner is now 7 years old and her ears perk up when we mention "going to camp"; as we load up the SUV and head out for the 'drop off' her excitement is not hard to notice especially as we approach the gate. Garry leashes her and she walks off with him, tail in the air in a happy prance; she is on a holiday at the Pet Resort.

  We always pick up a healthy, happy, energetic dog at the end of her stay, who actually pouts for a few days after she gets home ! Stormy, our cat, was actually rescued by Sophia at 3 weeks of age. The family nursed this little kitten back to health, at which time it was suggested that she would be very happy in my home ! Well, she is a happy kitty, still after 3 years... And she even loves her drive to camp to play in the cattery for a few days.

  

  One of the Family Pet Care Center is the only place that I would ever consider leaving my pets for their little holiday. I trust that they will be loved and cared for as much as they are at home.

• For over six years, One of the Family has taken excellent care of our two chocolate labs while we've been away. Sharon and Gary and of course Sophia are great with our dogs and they can't wait to jump out of the car to greet them when we arrive. They are very accommodating with our busy schedules and are always punctual with appointments.

  Their experience and expertise are further supported by direct access to vets (which our dogs have needed on and off through the years) and even an animal behavioralist, so you know your pet is in good hands. They are sensitive to our needs as well as our dogs. They have taken in our dogs when we've had to travel last minute for an emergency. They have taken in our dogs when we had our son—another last minute drop off! And they also helped us transition them into welcoming our new family member. They have given medications when they have been needed and monitored any medical issues or concerns we have had.

• We have been dealing with One of The Family Pet Care Centre for over 15 years. Our Border Collie, Haywire, used to squeal with excitement when we would drive up the driveway to drop him off for a holiday. I think he would have lived there if we'd let him.

• "One of the Family" Pet Care Centre and Resort has taken care of our elderly cat "Lace" on several occasions. My husband and I were very reluctant at first to use a boarding facility, however, when I toured the Centre and met Sharon I was convinced that Lace would feel right at home. I was impressed with the cute "houses" each cat would live in plus all the toys set out for them in the playroom.

  Lace requires to be fed several times a day with a special kidney diet. Sharon did not hesitate to accommodate his needs providing love and attention as well.
